Isaiah 6 is a mountain top passage of Scripture, meant to be experienced as well as studied. The passage moves from seeing (Vv. 1-2) to hearing (Vv. 3-5) to feeling (Vv. 6-8). Isaiah's experience is the experience of every born-again believer from the confrontation with the Lord of hosts through to the calling unto spiritual service.
